Ms Emma Lawrence

Emma is an Oral Hygienist practising at Cape Periodontal Specialists, based in Newlands.

She completed her undergraduate Dental Hygiene training at the University of the Western Cape in 2009 and was awarded golden key status.

In 2017, she completed a course on Expanded functions for the dental hygienist.

Emma is a dedicated oral hygienist that is always willing to go the extra mile for her patients. She loves educating patients on the importance of preventative oral health and the links between systemic disease and dental hygiene.

Emma believes that good oral hygiene is key to decreasing the risk of diseases such as gum disease and oral cancer. She is always on hand to give patients the best possible advice on achieving optimal oral health and maintaining it at all times. She enjoys interacting with people and being able to impact their smiles positively.

Emma is passionate about dental health, patient care. She shares this enthusiasm with her patients and other dental professionals. Emma likes to keep at the forefront of developments in dental health to ensure that patients receive the most comprehensive treatment available.
